  3. Star Princess
We did the 30 day cruise in December and spent the winter in Argentina and Chile. The logical choice was to return to California on the same ship from Santiago. We are fairly new to cruising but we love the Star Princess. The staff seems to be genuinely friendly and wants you to feel like part of the family. A couple of the ports were a little disappointing but I don’t think it was the fault of Princess. Our interior cabin was comfortable but I wish there had been a comfortable chair to sit on in the cabin. There are plenty of places to do that around the ship however. We usually ate at the buffet, the food was comparable to the main dining room but there were a lot more things to choose from. We did eat “out” at Sabatini’s one night and it was excellent. The port excursions we booked through Princess were pricey but well done. The embarkation in San Antonio was good, but I thinking Valparaiso is a much more interesting town. Disembarking in Long Beach was a breeze especially considering the last minute change in berth

Great cruise

Cabin Review

Interior
Cabin IA B212
Cabin was adequate. The bed was a little too soft for me and the pillows were way too big and soft. It would have been nice to have a comfortable chair to sit in and read but I guess you have to pay bigger bucks for that
