  3. Carnival Pride
We live in Pennsylvania, so when we want a nice cruise in February or March we choose Carnival Pride specifically because it sails from Baltimore. We go to Baltimore a day ahead of time, stay at a hotel, and take advantage of a Park & Cruise package. We weren't looking for a specific itinerary. As long as the weather is warmer and the ports are pleasing to the eye, we go. We actually love sea days. Embarkation was very quick. Our arrival was scheduled between 2-2:30. Because our shuttle from the hotel picked us up at 12:30 we were prepared to wait outside of the terminal until 2, but when we handed our luggage to the Porters, someone at one of the terminal doorways signaled us to come in. We were on the ship within 15-20 minutes after arriving at the port This trip was a relaxing vacation. Our room Steward Jefferson, and his assistants were great, our Waiter Luis and his assistants were the best at our Late Dining. We thought the food was good in each venue. We order a continental breakfast every morning and each time it arrived almost exactly the time we requested. Our weather really wasn't that warm until we hit Princess Cay, but that doesn't bother us at all. It was warm in Princess Cay, Nassau and Freeport. The Dry Dock improvements; carpeting, bedding in our cabin, flat screen TV, other little things were nice. The ship was very clean in every area we visited. We don't bother with the showroom, however, the comedians were good in the Butterfly Lounge. It didn't hurt either that I won a Jackpot on Friday night, whoo hoo!! I'm certain that we will sail on the Pride again. We love the Spirit Class ships in the Carnival Fleet.
