Ruby Princess Cruise Review by gjchenot
- Sail Date: March 2019
- Destination: Pacific Coastal
- Cabin Type: Oceanview
The excursions were terrible as far as getting dumped off at locations (Ensenada in particular) where we spent 1 1/2 hours at a dusty, dirty Mexican flea market.
We chose Princess because of the itinerary and we had never gone with them.
This was the first and last.
I hate to say it but Carnival had better food with more variety.
Our cabin, P315, was very noisy at night with creaking sounds to the point of necessitating ear plugs and a pillow over our heads.
The cabin was clean and our steward was attentive to the point he added an additional comforter to my mattress as the bed was hard, for me.
They had no water packs like Carnival, only $2 and $3.75 bottles in the cabin.
Additionally, in order to get a boarding pass, you are required to purchase one day of internet for $19.99.
The photos were very expensive as opposed to Carnival.
The entertainment, however, was top notch but you have to arrive at least 45 minutes before to get decent seats.
All in all, we probably won't take Princess in the future.
