Norwegian Dawn Cruise Review by Cruising Oma53
- Sail Date: February 2019
- Destination: Caribbean
- Cabin Type: Balcony
Two ‘mature’ adult travelers that love to cruise. This was our 3rd cruise on NCL, 2nd on the Dawn. Cabin 9668 Balcony AFT. Loved the itinerary for the Southern Carib. Cabin seemed to be smaller than the midship balcony we usually get but they were not available when I booked. The Balcony had several rust spots and the wood railing needs some varnishing. The room view was great. A lot of creaking in this cabin and a little noise from the top cabin. Aqua dining room was good, not as big as the Venetian but the same menu. We loved the food at the specialty Los Lobos restaurant. Entertainment was ok, we have seen Elements before and don’t need to see it again. Comedian Vince Azevedo was good. Other shows we could not go to because of our dinner schedule. Clean ship, food was ok. Staff was very friendly, Cruise director Richard was very entertaining. I will cruise with NCL again but another ship.
Cruising Oma53’s Full Rating Summary
Seemed smaller than the Midship Balcony we had the last time. Quite a bit of creaking/cracking noises most of the time. Some noise coming from the cabin above us like something schrapping the Floor. Rust in a few areas of our balcontact and the wood railing needs to be smoothed out/varnished.
