Carnival Dream Cruise Review by PJMGD
- Sail Date: November 2018
- Destination: Western Caribbean
We got there at 11:30a and walked right on, with our own bags. We are Platinum and waltzed right in after checking in.
The Dream is not the newest ship but I love the classic look. I was very nervous at the safety drill hearing the adult:kid ratio for this sailing. Carnival security was stepped up and present everywhere did an amazing job keeping things in check, firm but kind. Several announcements were made reminding parents to be parents.
We had the best waiter during your time dining, Sabbi. We looked forward to seeing him every night. We booked steakhouse reservations for Thanksgiving, and had an outstanding meal. We ate twice at sushi, amazing.
We also booked the Dreams portrait studio, and they took pictures on board and on deck. Our pictures turned out amazing. I spent $500 for a metal 20x30 and for 15 fully edited digital prints. Very pricey, but priceless all at the same time. We were tanned, relaxed and genuinely happy and it showed in our session.
We all crammed into a balcony room, and with a little coordination, it was just fine. We enjoyed our shoe trips for the most part. I will review these separately.

CozumelGreat value. For $50 you have all you can eat and drink (great service), full access to pools and beach. It's great. Reserve a spot for $5 per person before you head out on your cruise.View All 12,237 Cozumel Cruise Port Reviews

RoatanA beautiful resort and beach. I received lunch, one beverage, r/t transport and full access to Paradise Beach Club for $50 per person. The beach vendors were extremely harassing. Some ladies would begin rubbing your neck sample; without even asking permission to touch you. That was very off putting.View All 12,237 Roatan Cruise Port Reviews
