We choose this cruise for a family vacation. This was the first one of many to come. We had a blast! Our daughters enjoyed every moment. On the embarkation day, Mother Nature played us a trick. The Port of Tampa was closed due to extremely foggy conditions, so our departure time was 12 am (midnight) instead of 4 pm. Many thanks to Carnival staff who kept us updated by messages and emails with the correct timing. We arrived in Tampa form Atlanta a day before cruising and "thanks" to the weather, we "visited" a shopping mall and Ybor City. Anyway, on the ship the crew members were AMAZING! I will start with Nina from the Coffee Bar, she served us the best Espressos to start the day! Ms. Luxi from the "Cherry on top" who helped our daughters how to pick the yummiest candies. Mr. Igor and Mr. Frankie our waiters at Bacchus dining went above and beyond to provide us a memorable experience. These guys were absolutely amazing! We had breakfast and dinner at Bacchus every day and it felt like we were at one of the top restaurants in the world. Tip for chocolate lovers: try the Carnival Chocolate Melting Cake, it's WOW! There were a lot of activities on board, but unfortunately we didn't have enough time to do it all ( we booked shore excursions every day). Our daughters enjoyed the shows at Phantom Theater ( Lip sync battle, Hasbro games), also the Camp Ocean ( just the first day, our little one wanted mommy...), Build a Bear workshops, the water slide on Deck 10, the Chocolate extravaganza buffet. Shore excursions: 1. Cozumel ( Passion Island) thanks to our tour guides, Edwin and Addy. Great way of spending the first day of 2019!!! 2. Belize ( Jungle EcoPark Family Adventure), Shana, our tour guide was captivating in explaining the Belizean culture, history). 3. Isla Roatan ( Maya Key Private Island) WOW, definitely worth it, amazing island ( monkeys, jaguars, parrots, crocodiles, sea lions, retreat, beautiful beach, Mayan ruins). 4. Grand Cayman ( Stingray encounter and swimming with turtles)- the best at last. Awesome shore excursions, but too many. It was a little bit demanding and overwhelming for us ( by the time we were back on the ship we were exhausted). But worth it! I read a lot on cruisecritic.com ( very useful website, specially for first time cruisers) about shore excursions been to hectic and how you always have to be on time everywhere, true, but worth it! If you want to spend more time on shore, get a vacation there ( not cruise). We would definitely cruise again!

Amazing experience
