We had a great time on this cruise. Grandparents and parents each had balcony room, and 2 grandkids had interior room across the hall. Checkin and Checkout were very easy once we got in the building. There was a ton of traffic getting to the building, the backup was probably 15 minutes long. But how they get 6000 people off and another 6000 people on w/in a couple of hours is amazing. The ship never really seemed that crowded. Even the first night of dinner in the main dining room was fairly organized. As with any vacation, and little pre-work and planning goes a long way. I think most of people who complain dont spend time before the cruise mapping things out, which is a mistake in my opinion on any vacation. We thought the food and service in the main dining room was good. We had dinner in the solarium (reservations accepted which we were able to do pretty easily) twice, and this was really nice. Decided not to eat at any specialty restaurants. At $50-70 per person w/ 6 people just didnt seem worth the extra expense. We only saw 1 show, hairspray and thought that was pretty good. It would be nice to have a few extra activities between dinner time and midnight. On the sea days their actually seemed to be close to adequate seating around the pools and on the other other decks and solarium. All of the bars were always nice w/out much of a wait to get a drink. We had been to all the ports before, but there is always something new to explore if you spend a little time planning. Cant wait to cruise again.
