Fantastic Family Trip! Beautiful Ship, lots of amenities, nice and helpful staff. Spoiled rotten in the Sky Suite Class and loved it! Did not feel the crowds at all. Getting off and on the ship at all of the ports was so simple and fast! We cruise every 4-5 years, this being our first time with Royal Caribbean. We chose the Symphony because we wanted to go on the World's largest cruise ship - it did not disappoint! So much to do. Stayed in Suite 11654 - great stateroom. Lots of room for 4 people (2 adults and 2 teens). No sound from any floor, very quiet and peaceful location. Very little ocean movement felt. Our favorite event on the ship was the Hiro Show. Really great, and love the Aquatheatre. We tried most of the dining options and really enjoyed Wonderland and Izumi Hibachi. Strongly recommend taking the Sushi Making class offered - it was amazing and very yummy! The food at the Main Dining Room was just so-so, same with the buffet. Labadee was fun, enjoyed the zip line, but would pass on other activities. Waterslide was not worth it, Coasters kept getting stuck on the track-so didn't do, and the water park was a little under maintained. Beach Cabanas and attendants were great, but beach was a little tight. Not sure what we would do there if we return...seems like we'd get bored...maybe Coco Cay instead. St. Thomas was fun. Went on Snorkel excursion to Buck Island and Honeymoon Beach. Not the best snorkeling, but was a fun day. Nassau was a VERY quick stop - only able to spend 4 hours there, so just enough to get a look at the Atlantis resort, but would have liked more time to have walked the downtown area - totally missed it. Looking forward to our next adventure - would definitely book with Royal Caribbean again. Very clean ship, worked hard at pleasing us and friendly staff.

Bravo Symphony of the Seas!

  • Labadee
Zip line is a must do! Very fun. Would pass on the other activities - really not worth the $$ and/or did not operate well: Coaster, Water Slide and Aqua Park. Beach Cabana was very nice, nice staff. Beaches ok. Loved the Barefoot Beach BBQ! This was our first time there, not sure it would be worth returning to....seems like we'd be bored on a second visit...

Had to go to the Atlantis Aquaventure while stopping in Nassau! Was what we expected. Very busy - but was a fun park and huge resort. Beaches were very nice. Wished we had more time to explore Nassau, but was a good excursion - just don't miss those shuttle busses!! Very crowded port!

Booked with Castaway Girl - A catamaran snorkel trip to Buck Island and then a stop at Honeymoon Beach. Great crew and ok snorkeling - saw a couple of turtles and rays and other reef fish, but busy, over used location. Honeymoon beach was ok - busy. Only was there for an hour - tried to eat lunch, but their "island time" was very slow, so never did get a chance to eat our food! But would recommend the excursion overall- fun experience and great views of the islands.
