We had sailed Celebrity several times before and they serve our demographic (retired couple) quite well. We wanted to cruise out of the Northeast so that we could avoid flying. The Summit is due for a total refurb in Feb 2019, and it does need it. The decor is a bit dated, the cabins need some rework and the cabin-locks were troublesome from beginning to end. With that said, a cruise is made or broken by the staff, and Celebrity always has friendly, professional, competent people, in all roles. This is why we plan on cruising them again and again. The entertainment was 'average' at best, nothing to write home about, I am afraid. The Guest Relations desk was superb, very helpful, especially in the continual dealings we had with our cabin key-entry (one of our two keys would fail every 36 hours!). The food was always excellent and the entire Wait-Staff was superb. I DO wish that their Internet was more affordable--I mean, REALLY?! And their pricing plans may work for kids and millenials, but that's about IT! Also, the TV feed was 'limited', and repetitive, not particularly helpful on our rough-seas sea days.

Cabin Review

Ocean View 7
Cabin 07
Cabin space is a bit 'tight', even for an inside cabin.
But I am always amazed at the amount of storage they seem to cram into those 141 cubic feet!
