Carnival Horizon Cruise Review by gnhutch
- Sail Date: December 2018
- Destination: Eastern Caribbean
- Cabin Type: Cloud 9 Spa Interior
Ship- Beautiful and decorated for Christmas
Cabin- If I had to complain about something, it would be our cabin. We were in room 12221(Interior Spa Room). Only one closet to hang clothes and 3 small drawers for two to share. I don't remember ever having a room with only one closet to hang clothes or very little space for the fold up clothes.
Dining - We had "our time dining", so it was a different waiting staff each time we went. It was the best dining experience we have had in the past.
Entertainment- The shows are top notch. Wish we could see more.
Service- Our Stewart was EXCELLENT!
Ports and Shore Excursions- We did not book any excursions through Carnival

Island tourRoyston is very knowledgeable about the island history and took us to places I don't think most tours go. Felt like we had the inside track.View All 263 Island tour Reviews
St. MaartenGetting a taxi to go anywhere was extremely stressful. We were ushered from one line to another. No signs to point us to which one we needed to be in. Once we did get on a bus/taxi, we went straight to Maho Beach (Dutch side of the island). You could tell the driver was not happy about his job. Out of the three we had, only one would talk to us much. Maho Beach is a VERY busy place. But where else can you watch planes fly right over you while swimming in the ocean? It was fun. Then we went to Bikini Beach (French side of the island). A lot of people there too but much more laid back.View All 4,728 St. Maarten Cruise Port Reviews
