Well where do you start , this was our first experience of cruising with Celebrity, and what a fantastic decision it was . After a long flight from Edinburgh to New York then onto Miami we checked into the Marriott at Biscayne Bay ,we had a chilled and relaxing night . Awoke the next morning refreshed and excited about the next 10 days on-board the Equinox , we had a few hours to spare so explored the area around the hotel. The boarding process was simple , you drop your bags off go into the terminal building , and just follow the instructions from the friendly and helpful staff . Once you get your sea pass and cross the gang way the holiday really begins . The sail out of Miami is fantastic I think we were the 3rd of 4 cruise liners leaving at the same time it looked awesome , We booked a balcony cabin and was very impressed by the size and comfort of it , plenty storage for all the wife's clothes and that's some going . Let's talk about the ship its a work of art , easy to find your way around , lush carpets and furnishings different in all areas but blending beautifully, The pool was a decent size with 2 hot tubs and a solarium ,plenty of beds spread over 2 decks, pool bar and the mast grill serving fab burgers , The lawn club with real grass is a fantastic area with a brilliant bar doing cocktails beers and spirits, the mud slides top the bill ,favourite bar has to be the gastro bar, think it had 40 different beers and I tried most of them . The Silhouette restaurant was fantastic, breakfast, lunch, and dinner top class , breakfast could be a bit hectic at times with all the staff keeping everyone happy , lunch and dinner was more relaxed, great and varied choice served by excellent waiting staff . We went to 2 off the celebrity restaurants, Murano serving modern classic French cuisine a fabulous experience , the Tuscan grille an Italian steakhouse , easily the best ribeye I've had, Entertainment was of such a high standard it was hard to believe you were on a ship and not at a west end show,
