This was my second cruise experience. My review of this ship will be in comparison with our prior cruise with Royal Caribbean. First, the ship was overrun with children. Children at bars, shows, pools, just about everywhere. The adult pool was supposed to be kid free until about 5 pm, and the staff did a good job enforcing it. However, some of the hot tubs around the pool were family friendly and kids were in there. There is an additional small pool area in the back that is kids free until 8 pm, but it isn't really a pool, just two hot tubs and some stairs with water showering down. In comparison with Royal Caribbean, the service was terrible. Staff was uninterested, uninformed, at times rude, and just appeared annoyed a good amount of time. BUT what really did not work for me at all is that this cruise line is NOT vegan friendly at all. If you like meat, then you're all set. If you don't, you are mostly stuck eating french fries and the 1-3 Indian dishes they serve (always. the. same). Yes, you'll have it coming outta your ears. And for everything else you, you have to ask and wait. A long time. No margarine, no plant milks, no tofu, nothing. Even simple things like lentil salad had ham in it, guacamole had sour cream in it. And as the cook informed me, vegetable dishes were made with butter unless you special order. You can special pre-order your meal. I did. And I ended up sitting in dining rooms or dinner shows getting served the same Indian dish I had at the garden buffet for lunch. At Royal Caribbean there were always plenty of choices of Vegan dishes (Asian, Mexican, Indian, etc.) and the vegan menu in dining rooms were always varied and presented nicely. Shore excursions where over priced. We found our own when we got to the ports and paid a fraction for the same things than people paid who bookd through NCL The fitness room was tiny and the ceiling was so low you couldn't push weights up over your head unless you sat down. There was an additional fitness room where they had classes. 25$ a class. Our room was very nice, though, and our stateroom attendant was also very nice. In terms of overall friendliness, Royal Caribbean was 100 times better.

We just started walking and ended up on a 2 hour walk along the beaches. It was perfect.

We made no plans before and, again, just decided to see what happens. We founbd a great outdoor restaurant on the beach called Jeanne's. They were about a 20 min walk from the peer, and there were not other cruise guest. We ordered the best guacamole I had and had margaritas and piña coladas. They let us keep our table why we went snorkeling all along the beach there (we did bring our own equipment). We had a late lunch after snorkeling at the same place before heading back to the ship. Our meals, two large orders of guac, a couple of really amazing cocktails, perfect service, cost us 40$

Save your time. It's nothing more than a tourist trap with overpriced drinks and a zip line you can take for 90$ a person. The island belongs to the cruise line. You're better off staying on the ship. The beach is artificial and we saw no birds or fish.

Miami is great. We didn't explore the port because we are from Florida. We drove to the port.
Parking was a disaster though. We used Premier Parking. Do NOT use them. Their service is really bad and we ended up taking a Lyft to the ship because their shuttle couldn't handle all the people. We were stuck in line for almost an hour just getting up the parking garage.

We rented a scooter with a company called Captain Vans on Roatan. They picked us up from the ship and took us to the West Bay. They gave us a map and showed us all the places we should go. We ended up at a beach resort called Sol y Mar that was fabulous. We rented kayaks and went out to the reef to snorkel and then came back for drinks. Highly recommend.
