I chose the cruise for not only the ports but the size of ship. Having travelled on various classes I enjoy this class the most. The ports were indeed lovely and I would do this cruise again for sure. Embarkation No issues at all. Checked in at terminal seapass obtained then through to customs. Luckily a nice lady with a hole punch passed by as and was nice enough to punch a hole in mine to allow me to attach my lanyard. If however you didn’t get it done there guest services on 5 were lovely and could that that for you. Took about 45 mins all up from beginning to end to process and seating was arranged prior to customs clearance. Rooms/Cabins No announcements were made at all when rooms were ready so I went at the usual time 1pm to my cabin and it was lovely clean neat and tidy. My safe however didn’t open by itself I had to use the instructions card to slide in the side to open it but that was not a big issue. Amenities Onboard the usual from RCI. All clean neat tidy and very well maintained. I found no issues with access and staff readily available to help. Captain/Staff Disappointed. Same announcements from the Captain every single day. I was shocked in that the Captain announced daily that he did not do handshakes for hygiene reasons and instead chose to FIST PUMP. I am less than impressed with that etiquette or lack there of. Perhaps white gloves appropriate with dress attire would be more appropriate than a FIST PUMP. Very embarrassing to say the least to announce that daily. Very cringe worthy. I was going to have a photo with him but after this I decided against it. Also perhaps change the dialogue daily too, the Cruise Director can help the Captain with that. Very mundane announcements with no thought process involved. Was like listening to a repeat recording day in day out. Entertainment I will start off with the only complaint I had the DJ in Dizzy’s nightclub. Oh Geez raised on lemons. I have never seen someone so horrid to guests. He was constantly frowning, never smiled, the music was terrible. Same tracks every single night. You know its bad when the nightclub dance floor is empty and he is playing with his phone. Goodness don’t approach to ask for a song you are greeted with a hand gesture of go away and the face to match. Yes I did put this on the interim review I got in the cabin, but it made no difference at all. The tracks are dated and boring. Ice shows/Theatre etc – 10/10 Well hats off ladies and gents. The poolside band were amazing, friendly approachable and really got us all up and dancing. They made the trip with their professionalism and such dedication to their art. Big shout out to Fe and Viv in the Crown and Kettle outstanding members of RCI they really brought the guest service levels up. Wow factor. They were incredible they smiled, they actively sought to enrich anyone who came to the pub. They are a credit by far to RCI as was the live band those boys know how to rock and entertain. MDR I have never had service like it, the worst ever. Night one I gave allowances for the lack of attention, as they are busy etc, night 2 sat for 30 minutes no menu had to ask. They produced a dish full of fat not succulent steak, then brought a seafood dish as replacement. My table walked out. We organised a different table the following night, stark improvement but we ate elsewhere for most of the cruise returning 2nd last night to find lack luster efforts again. I usually sing the praises of the dining staff, but unfortunately not on this occasion. Very poor, staff need training and headwaiters need to be visible which they weren’t. 1/10 for MDR. Windjammer/Café Promenade Amazing staff, great service, and wonderful experience. Clean tidy friendly nothing was too hard for them Bar Service No long waits, friendly staff, very informative and all had a sense of humor. Disembarkation I chose to walk off. There was a huge line to get off however the staff processed everything very smoothly. Was sad to leave, as the staff and the ship were lovely. Plenty of cabs, shuttle buses etc available. Very streamlined and the staff again helpful and friendly.

nside cabin forward. Highly recommended. It’s at the end of the corridor so no through traffic. The bed was very comfortable and plenty of cupboard space. As a shift worker I found it amazing, so dark when the lights were out. So peaceful I actually managed 10 full solid hours one night, which is unheard of. Position wise I loved it as I ran the outside track of the ship every day and I was literally a few levels up to Level 12 to the track and 2 from windjammer or the adults only solarium
