It had been a few years since we sailed on Celebrity and wanted to try it again. We loved all of our other cruises on this line. This cruise was no exception. Embarkation and debarkation were a breeze, even with a Coast Guard inspection the day of sailing. We realize that the ship is older, but she is well maintained. We loved the intimate atmosphere and how easy it was to get around. We were in Aqua class room 1113. The room was clean and our stateroom attendant was great! There was a slight musty smell in the bathroom, but I think it's just from age and didn't affect us at all. We really enjoyed eating in Blu. The food was just a step above amazing and the service was fabulous. Also, we enjoyed the use of the Persian Garden a couple of times during the cruise and there was never anyone in there. I highly recommend getting Aqua Class. It is well worth it. I enjoyed some of the live bands and artists that were on the ship. It was more of a hit or miss thing with that, but since many lines don't utilize live music anymore, I will not complain! We did not attend any shows and I don't know why. We just never got around to it, As far as the ports went, we love Key West and always enjoy our time there. In fact, it is my favorite port. We never leave this ship in the Bahamas because we have been there so many times and there is nothing for us there. This was our 4th time on a Millennium class ship and will be doing it again next year. It was a great getaway with no stress!

Cabin Review

Aqua Class
Cabin A1 1113
The room was clean and our stateroom attendant was great! There was a slight musty smell in the bathroom, but I think it's just from age and didn't affect us at all. There seemed to be plenty of room for the 2 of us and the balcony was an average size. I wish they had some kind of foot stool to go with the balcony chairs. That would have made it more comfortable to sit out there for longer periods. The was comfortable enough and I was able to get more pillows from our attendant. I liked having a loveseat in the room to relax on too. There are only 2 standard plugs in the room and my own hairdryer wouldn't fit into the plug, so I had to use the hairdryer furnished in the room. It was definitely a smaller wattage and took a long time for my hair to dry. Next time, I may try to bring an extension cord so that I can plug my own hair dryer into it.
