Chose this ship for the itinirary which was very nice although unable to stop at Bar Harbor due to weather. We did have rough seas on several days 8 - 14 ft waves. We were concerned about being on Deck 2 but actually was an advantage. More stable. Able to walk up to Dining room on 5 & main common areas. Never an issue getting on/off ship in ports from Deck 1,2 or 3. The entire staff was very friendly, helpful & efficient. However, could never understand the Captain in his announcements. Heavy accent. Food was good, not great, in Dining Room. Better at the Ocean Buffet. Big problem with lunch on the day Bar Harbor was skipped. Main dining room not open. Everyone trying to eat at Buffet but it was packed. No place to sit, passengers frustrated, difficult to fix your plate & take elsewhere because the ship was rockin & rollin in high seas. Should have been better prepared ! Entertainment ok - nothing outstanding. Ship itself badly in need of update & maintenance. Window in our stateroom full of mold/mildew on inside. Grout on Shower floor was black with mildew. Many passengers experiencing allergy episodes. Triggered My asthma & after 3 days home still having congestion. 1st time on Celebrity. Had heard they were the higher end of cruise lines. Perhaps for the Elite but certainly not for the rest of us. Very obvious that there is a "Caste System" on the ship. Deck 11 with the panoramic views was frequently restricted for use only for passengers in higher end cabins or those with multiple cruises. Michaels Lounge, lower section of library - all restricted. Embarkation & Disembarkation was well organized & easy. Sorry - have been happier with Princess.

Great staff - not so great ship
