  3. Silver Whisper
We chose this cruise based on (a) destinations - we'd not been to some of the ports of call), (b) timing, and, (c) we'd been on several Silversea ships (including the Whisper in the past. Key points; 1. Virtually all the staff were attentive and helpful -especially our butler. 2. The food in La Terrassa was good - especially the evening meals - we ate there twice. 3. On the other hand the food in the main dining room in the evenings was not as good as in past years and was a big let down. I don't regard hamburgers as a suitable red meat choice for what purports to be a high end restaurant. 4. Internet is now included, and, although slow, copes with emails and newspapers. 5. Cabin was comfortable and clean, but only had 2 pairs of power sockets (one USA, the other European), one of which was on the design table at the end of the bed and was virtually useless. 6. The dress code is bizarre - few people bother with black tie. 7. I resent having to get the charity donation removed from my account. 8. We did 3 tours - which were well planned and executed. 9. Our flights were included. Transfer from the airport was smooth, but there was no help with the luggage at the terminal. Transfer back to the airport at the end of the voyage dropped us off an hour before check in opened.
