Celebrity Constellation Cruise Review by Callants
- Sail Date: September 2018
- Destination: Western Mediterranean
- Cabin Type: Deluxe Ocean View with Balcony 2B
Slightly apprehensive as having previously sailed on the beautiful Eclipse and Equinox, some reviews stated threadbare carpets, rust etc
We need not have worried. The ship was lovely using more traditional teak colours. The lifts were lined with wood, some lifts had sea views, lovely coloured glass on ceilings .The main dining room had a beautiful large coloured glass ceiling and beautiful windows. Large port holes gave light to many of the public areas.
Some of these areas did seem a little dark in the evening
A large outdoor screen on the rooftop terrace with comfortable settees.
Plenty of sun beds available to enjoy the weather.
Food in the ocean view cafe and San Marco restaurant was fabulous with wonderful service. Cafe allbacio was lovely with views of the sea
Our negative was the overall entertainment, not much live music throughout the ship and noisy activities in the rendezvous lounge which was the path in and out to dinner.very off putting. Theatre was good but the stage shows quite noisy.
Shore excursions were great but expensive

Only negative for me was a shower curtain instead of a door.
Balcony showed signs of rust
