Embark and Disembark all went smoothly, staff very friendly, ship was clean, but I don't think I am cut out for big boat cruising. We grew tired of the constant push for additional revenue - photographers looking for pics to sell, sales pitches to sign up for another cruise, gambling packages, discounted watches, etc. Group of 5 for boat sponsored excursions were cost prohibitive - we booked our own shore events - much cheaper and smaller groups. The food was good and consistent, but not exceptional. The selection was great, though and we could get something different every day if we wanted. We paid for an upgraded meal at Le Bistro, but could not see any difference quality-wise with what was included with the freestyle options. The internet is woefully inadequate, but I don't have experience with other cruise lines, so it may be par for the industry. The biggest source of irritation was the cruise line re-ran authorization for incidental charges on our credit card halfway thru the cruise - they already had authorization, so I don't know what they ran it again. It got declined. When that happened, they shut down all of our guest cards - we couldn't get drinks, food - mind you, we had ALREADY PAID for these items, so to not allow us to use the amenities that were already included was a huge frustration. We were off the ship, but our kids were on the ship and were in limbo until we came back and found a letter from customer service attached to our door. Staff told our kids that our credit card was declined - thanks guys! Customer desk just kept telling me it was cruise ship policy - its truly underhanded. Shout out to the Priscilla cast - truly talented group and a highlight of cruise activities for us! I have to say, though, I was surprised to see a show with such adult themes and language on a family cruise line. The number of young kids parents brought to the show, in spite of the clear warnings of adult themes was a surprise as well. Next time, I would choose a cruise where it was more about the cruise and relaxing, and less about getting out to the ports and attractions. There was a lot of driving to get back and forth to the attractions, making the fact that you are on a cruise seem secondary.

Just ok - not exceptional

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Balcony
Cabin MD
10th floor - Cabin small - lots of storage though and I cant imagine going on a cruise without a balcony - seems pointless otherwise. Shower huge, but didn't drain well. Hair dryer useless. Not enough charging ports - we were always fighting over them. The pull out bed for a third person is so uncomfortable - ok for kids, but not an adult.
