This was our second time on Eden - the first time was two years ago and we loved it which is why we returned. If anything the ship was better second time around. Beautifully furnished, spacious, friendly and attentive staff - could not fault it. The food on the whole was good, tasty and beautifully presented. Temperature appeared to be a problem with many meals lukewarm at best. Waterfront (the main dining room) has a great menu with something for everyone. Dragon Lady was great but Angelos not as good. Drinks are a reasonable price, and again a great selection. Our cabin (deck 4 oceanview midship) was spacious and spotlessly clean. Itinerary was great - I wasnt sure about visiting NewGuinea and was actually talked into the cruise but we thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone. We were not able to tender to Gizo Island due to rough seas but full marks to the Entertainment team for putting together a great day at sea at short notice. Cruise was ex Cairns - embarkation very easy, well organised. Disembarkation just as easy - we were off the ship and in our hotel within 30 minutes. Disappointed that Pacific Eden had been sold on but I have been told Pacific Aria is exactly the same so will have to find out for ourselves (hopefully soon!)

Best cruise ever....
