Pacific Dawn Cruise Review by Bantam1
- Sail Date: July 2018
- Destination: South Pacific
A splash area for toddlers or a 1.8m pool are the only options available, not great for kids that are between 3 and competent swimmers. Kids need a pool they can touch the bottom in just to lay, this option isn't available.
Food in "the pantry" leaves a lot to be desired and has major faults in its offerings.
Vegetarians beware, a limited option which on some nights ran to cheese toastie or Mac and Cheese for main dinner as Veggie Options ????
Also, fillets of fish riddled with bones causing child to choke and vomit in the dining room and after years of trying guess what, shes now wont go near fish again. Thanks a lot.
Room was as expected, Eric our cabin steward fantastic. Great service.
Kids club was so basic in the activities offered and during rougher weather when just about confined to below decks no special events or movie showings ??
Evening shows were all targeted at adults, the only one we could go too was the magic show. Evening entertainment is a must for kids but alas, poor.

Port Douglas, AustraliaTook a trip to the Hartleys Crocodile show, great trip and experience except for the expensive retaurant we were taken to for lunch ( apparently included in the package) but no doubt added significant cost to the trip which we werent advised of. Would have been happy with a cheap sandwich or buffet.View All 29 Port Douglas, Australia Cruise Port Reviews
