Pearl Mist Cruise Review by davefe230
- Sail Date: March 2018
- Destination: Cuba
There were 2 or 3 different excursions in each port (included in the price) so you can tailor your experience to your desired activity level or length you want to be off the ship. Most of the excursions had plenty of walking around on your own time as we were in port for about 1-1/2 to 2 days in each port.
The cabins are clean, well maintained and more spacious than in the larger ships. There are destination experts along to give talks during afternoons at sea, and a couple small bands (2 persons each) so there's something playing in 2 of the lounges in the evening. WIFI is included, and the service, while not extremely fast, was acceptable.
Happy hour before dinner is included, that includes open bar and ordourves.
Because of the small size embarkation and dissembarkation went fairly quickly.
While the base price is higher than on the larger cruise ships the amenities included (i.e. bar bill and excursions) make up for most of it. You get to know the concierges very well, and they go on the excursions so are very knowledgeable about the area as well.
The food was excellent and varied.
