This is our first cruise so we didn't know what to expect. We were very pleased with the service the food the accommodations and the entertainment. We got the dinner package and we got the drink package. The drink package was nice to the top shelf Liquors and any kind of drinks you wanted to. There was one nice bar which is called the District which had about 15 different tapped beers. That was my favorite place. But it closes at midnight. We didn't do much in the casino maybe spend 20 bucks gambling. We spent a lot of time on Deck 17 by the poolside space just lounging and signing. We spent a lot of time in the spa area the thermal spa and the ice cave we're pretty cool and after that we are relaxed. When are the late fifties early sixties so The Nightlife really didn't entice us to stay up late. But we didn't take advantage of some of the shore excursions and our favorite was Georgetown Grand Cayman. I heard that this was the last Caribbean cruise the Escape was going to perform so in the future they will be coming out of New York to Bermuda.

Cabin Review

Spa Balcony Stateroom
Cabin B9 15748
For two of us there was plenty of room in the cabin. I think the best part was a spot we were in there every day and some days twice a day is very relaxing.

  • Brewery Tour
We did the cayman brew tour. Sampled as much beer as we wanted. Then we we to the rum distillary and sampled as much of that too. Both were educational and fun with a group.

We did not do our ship planned Excursion we just walked around town. The locals and markets or very aggressive people trying to make a buck I understand that. Jenna Lee said no thank you and just went about her way. I was not impressed and probably wouldn't go back to Nassau . I may go to a resort such as Atlantis.

We took her own personal taxi spend about $150 on one of the cabs. Felt that we really didn't get our money's worth out of that although we did get a tour some of the back roads in areas that probably most people wouldn't see. I wouldn't personally stay in town in Jamaica or Ocho Rios. If there was a resort I would probably stay in the resort but not venture out of it.
