  3. Seabourn Encore
This cruise was the February Auckland to Sydney on Encore. It was our second cruise having taken the Singapore to Hong Kong last year. Cabin, service, food and alcohol were excellent but the same crucial niggles. Internet! In this day and age and for the money we are paying internet should be included and fast. We felt like school kids on port stops, dashing to the nearest library or information centre for wifi. Ridiculous. And the expensive shore excursions. We booked one ourselves - a Rotoroa white water rafting. Such good value and so much fun and such a professional setup. We were about 50 years older than the other rafters but were looked after brilliantly. The highlight of the trip! Despite booking back in November we were waitlisted on one excursion. When it came through as bookable it was $50 per person more expensive. Seabourn would not listen to our complaint about the price hike. And I did find that because it is a US setup, questions raised in the UK did not seem to be treated with any urgency and took an age to be responded to. Customer service! If we are paying this amount of money plus flights LISTEN TO US! And I agree with other cruisers about the space taken by the Retreat. I would have loved to be able to have a decent length deck walk. Disappointing

Mostly great but Seabourn still disappoints
