We chose this cruise because of the ports we had not been to. Never did a Western Caribbean cruise. We usually do eastern or southern. We also like as many ports as possible on our voyages, as we like to go to the beach as well as see local history and eat local food. This cruise did not disappoint us at all. The ship- The ship is lovely, although I prefer the Crown and Caribbean more due to the funky layout of the Regal. There is no promenade around the ship - you have to cut through the ship. You also have to go to the 7th floor or the 16th floor to make your way from the back of the boat to the forward area. Or you have to go down the halls on each floor to the midship elevators/stairs to get to some of the dining rooms for example. Very odd design. Pools- The retreat has a nice adults only pool and bar area. The main pool has a large shallow end, which I imagine would be good for kids. No pool on the terrace in the stern, but up one flight in the smoking area there is a small pool. Food- The food is always great. We eat at the buffet a lot, as there is a wide range of choices, and it is quick and casual. The crown grill is excellent! We did not eat at Sabatinis but I hear it’s great too. The British pub lunch was good and free; watch for it on the bulletin. Also the pizzeria on deck 6 was superb! Handmade pizzza to order. Excellent antipasto. Gelato bar is wonderful. Ports- princess Cay beach is lovely, but crowded. The BBQ is good. Eat the ribs. There are some shops there. Lockers for your things. The noodles were fun in the surf. It was quite windy and the tenders took a while to get everyone back as it was so rough. Jamaica was fabulous. We did a tour to Chukka beach which was lovely. Blue and calm with lunch to buy on the beach. Classic Jamaican jerk chicken and pork with peas and rice and other sides. Very good. And plenty of time on the beach. We shopped and went to margueritaville. Did not stray far into town as there had been some issues in the previous month in Jamaica. Grand Cayman - we were supposed to go to seven mile beach, but it was rough again. We tendered into town and went shopping and to the national museum, which was very interesting. I think we maybe should have gone to the beach anyway. Oh well, next time. Cozumel- was fantastic too. We took a boat to passion island on a tour that included lunch and 3 hours at the beach. What a gorgeous beach! Not crowded at all. Loungers that looked weird but were extremely comfortable. Hammocks in the water. Absolutely beautiful! Lunch included- fajitas, tacos, guacamole, sides. Very good. Back to the shops and some nachos and margueritas at Fat Tuesday’s. Sea Days- Read books, watched the wake, relaxed, pool at the retreat. Sat on our balcony and watched for flying fish. Went to a GoPro seminar that as very good. Drank one of each drink on the menu over the week. Listened to music. They have the medallion class Play Ocean, so did trivia, poker, etc for free. Went to the gym and did some classes. All in all relaxing time. I highly recommend Princess cruises. The people are amazing and the ship is lovely.

Wonderful time! Again!
