We choose the Oasis of the Seas because it sails out of Port Canaveral and we wanted to see what the largest cruise ship in the world was like to sail on. Embarkation: We had priority boarding but the woman that gave us instructions when we got off the bus told us we had to wait in the long queue like everyone else. Of course we didn't know that there was separate line so we did. I give them a -1 star for that. Disembarkation: This was a breeze and to me it did not look like it mattered what class you were in. The ship: The ship is incredible. There was a few areas that you could tell that are ready for the upcoming dry dock but all in all it was still in great shape. Cabin: We were in a grand balcony suite (Sky class) so the cabin was very nice and very spacious. Dining: We purchased the ultimate dining package so we did not eat in the main dining rooms. The coastal kitchen was very good at breakfast but lunch was lacking a good menu. We did not eat dinner there. We ate breakfast and lunch at windjammers a couple of times when we could get in. Terribly over packed during sea days. I would recommend Geovanni's, Izumi, Chops Grille for this package. 150 park place and Sabor were kind of a bust, especially 150 which was really bad. Entertainment: The shows, movies and parade were on par with Disney. We thoroughly enjoyed them but Cat's could be shortened up in my humble opinion. Service: Excellent. Everywhere too and not in any one area. Ports & Shore Excursions: Labadee was a bust since we could not dock due to high waves (really hurt our experience since we had 2 of our 3 excursions planned there). Jamaica is well Jamaica. We walked around the port and got brave and ventured out into old town but did not go far before turning back. I did not feel comfortable there at all. Cozumel started out great with a bright sunny morning but as our excursion time neared the weather went south and it started pouring down the rain. we ended up not getting off the ship because it rained all day long. So all together we had about 3 hours off the ship the whole trip. Party: Just my wife of 39 years and I. Would we do it again: Of course we would

Cabin Review

Grand Suite - 1 Bedroom
Cabin GS 14260
Cabin was great but a bit noisy at times. It was right below the activities deck so we expected a little noise from there but quite honestly it sounded like most of it was from children running the halls. The sink plumbing was in dire need of an update. The handle for one of the sinks actually fell off our last day. The shower was very nice but the water is to hot even at it's lowest setting.
