after looking at MSC Yacht Club and Star Class suites, I decided to take the safe bet and book the Haven again. But, not the same wow effect as I already knew what to expect. I have only sailed twice, both times in the Haven. I'm pretty convinced I could never book a cruise without knowing I have some quiet sanctuary to go to. My wife and I are late 40's early 50's and like more of a relaxed atmosphere. The Haven definitely provides this. For the money it costs being in the Haven, Idon't see why they cant include some spirits in the mini bar. Would be nice to be able to come back to room and mix a drink and just sit on balcony. There are way more pros than cons for the extra money. We only vacation once a year and I wan't good service, good food and peace and quite. The haven affords us all of this. PLUS, we are not pre planners, we find ourselves at the haven concierge booking shows and dinners last minute, never to be turned down. I was very close to booking our next cruise with a so called deal they have on board....put 1000 down and you get 1000 onboard credit....but for the current cruise your on. we already had about 700 and hadn't even used all of that. So passed on that one, if it was good for next cruise,I would have signed up. Overall, the weather wasn't fantastic, but it was still relaxing and the Haven is still my choice and would probably book again if the deal was right.

Knew what to expect in Haven, so not the same thrill

Cabin Review

The Haven Spa Suite with Balcony
Cabin H9 16102
my wife was fine with it, but to small for me. last cruise had aft facing penthouse. liked that room much better. the trade off is this room was 1 minute from haven area. really missed the ocean views from bathroom in penthouse and that huge balcony. I would either opt for owners suite next time or different cruise line. the walk from aft penthouse did get to be bothersome after awhile.
