Oasis of the Seas Cruise Review by scootersdad
- Sail Date: December 2017
- Destination: Western Caribbean
Let me say I'm a diamond plus and a stock holder and this is Cruise Critic; not cruise cheerleading.
While the ship is nice there are several to many problems.
Too few shows... Cats dominated the theater Almost No dance lessons like other ships
Diving show was good but not great
Cruise director was absent much of the time. Lots of Events scheduled but much was advertising for thing to buy. Few officers visible, unlike Freedom.
Food was acceptable but MUCH IS MADE OFF-SHIP by restaurant supply houses or some other kitchen and warmed up. Only 2 or 3 entrees are made On-Ship. Confirmed by waiter and head waiter.
DR service was slow, especially for Bfast. Half my table of 8 got up after waiting to see a waiter. Buffet food in DR was cold--cold.
Front desk and shore excursions staff were excellent.
Falmouth and Mexico are TIRED ports.
Inside Balcony was spacious and clean.
