Chose cruise because of its excellent value in spite of the fact that it involved a return plane trip to NJ. There is room for improvement however. Often printed information was conflicting. For example, it was suggested that bags be put out before dinner on last evening. We did not get luggage tags for EZ Exit until late in the evening. I was charged for my United baggage total $50 in spite of the information given to the front desk detailing why our baggage with United was free. Also, my boarding pass printed by Princess indicated an aisle and middle seat. Original reservation called for two aisle seats. Whose fault? Princess or United? Only two people were at Guest Services on the last evening. Long line of folks with problems and the line simply did not move so I left. We left a wake up call for 5:00 AM for the morning of departure and got the call at midnight. Perhaps something to do with daylight savings time? Should not have happened. Never received 5 AM call. Food in the MDR never really hot. The best hot food was at the poolside grill. Delivery of wine from our silver wine package always seem to be confusing. First night we did not get wine until they were clearing away main course plates. Never happened in the past. Finally, I would like to see face recognition in the photo department. Other lines have had this for years and it makes selection of photos for purchase so much easier. Princess' greatest asset is her personnel. They are extremely pleasant and try very hard to please.
