This was my first cruise, and it was with 12 family members. Overall the ship is nice, the staff was excellent. All friendly and nice. The food was just okay. I'm always hearing how great the food is on a cruise, but for us it just fell short. There just wasn't enough options for younger kids, and the salad bar options were few. It seemed as if the menu repeated every other day. The main dinning room was good, except for the small section labeled "select" was only available for an additional charge. I purchased three bags of popcorn (smaller than a brown lunch bag) I say purchased because it was not complimentary. The cost, $2.50 per bag plus an 18% gratuity added on! Really! If you choose to swim and need a pool towel, you can check them out at the towel stand but be advised they will charge you $25 per towel not returned! So don't even think about leaving it behind or taking it to your room, it's ridiculous! Purchasing you photos taken by the on board photographers was an ordeal. We had 13 people and four staterooms. We usually were together and took group photos. We had at least one person per stateroom present their sea pass card to the photographer, but in the end all but 3 photos were in on one sea pass account. So if if a purchase was made it all went to one sea pass. We had to go to the main desk and have it figured out. It was a big inconvenience since most people were all trying to get their photos purchased the day before the final day of the cruise. And the cost is outrageous! $19.99 per photo! The stateroom overall was nice, a little tight for four people. But we managed. There was only a small wall dispenser on the shower wall for shampoo, and a bar of soap. One bar of soap by the sink. Not as nice as a hotel, where they usually supply shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion. There were two large bottles of Evian water, but only drink em if you don't mind paying for them! On our first port day we had a beach excursion set, but no pool towels were available. And no information was given prior to assist with it. We were able to get water bottles on our way off the ship, we all had a beverage package that included it, but be careful, check your ship board account daily, we were charged $4.74 per bottle. They adjusted our account, but had I not checked it I never would have known. The decor of the ship was just okay, it was very dark in the main dinning room and bland in the elevator hallways. The children's area was really cute and inviting for them. They offer classes and activities for kids. They offer a pet at sea, for purchase. Kinda like build a bear. But the quality of the animals was really poor. They looked like a carnival toy, not worth the $25. the nicest thing was the staff, just about ll our encounters were positive. All very friendly and willing to please. Our stateroom attendant was great! I may cruise again, but will probably try another another line. For what we paid I just didn't feel it was worth it.

Nice, but small for four people. The little extras in the bathroom were missing
