This was one of our monthly cruises. Nothing special about it. Issues we faced off to were: others smoking on balconies. We complained twice, no effect. Poor cabin steward. Elevators with issues, and, to beat all, our favorite restaurant, Sabor, went from al la carte to per person charging. What used to be reasonable and fair, is now out of control. On the second week of our back to back, the menu at Sabor was changed and a per person charge instituted. The charge is $ 19.00 pp. I can't eat that much food, and the selection does not justify the charge. For my wife and I the charge was $ 38.00. Outrageous! No more Sabor. RCCL is busy nickel and diming their guests to death. What do we pay gratuities and room fees for? All RCCL is interested in is $$$$. Not a good sign. I think in the near future we have to pay for the main restaurant and windjammer buffet. Also, can't get in the Diamond lounge as too many Diamonds on board. We are D+ and have been for a few years. Not a pleasant experience. May be time to look elsewhere....

Not good....

Cabin Review

Cabin 8642
We were on a back to back, 5/7 and 5/14/ The room attendant never washed the sliding door window or the spilled material on the step outside. As a matter of fact, he never went outside and wiped the table or chairs. We spoke with the executive housekeeping officer at a luncheon. She indicated the vacuuming and all else is on a as needed basis. For the monies we spend on Junior suites and gratuities, I find this totally unacceptable. RCCL needs to revisit their training and policies. Also, smoking on balconies is a big problem. We complained twice about some one above us, and down the hall smoking. Can't even enjoy our balcony due to smokers!!!!
