Selected this cruise because it was part of our Vacation points options and it was in the time frame when we wanted to travel to Alaska. Ship is medium size, about 1250 passengers. Common areas are very nice. Cabins are OK but a regular stateroom with a large window felt cramped. Plenty of room for our luggage and clothes. A balcony is nice to have but we seldom used it on a previous cruise. I think it would have been nicer to have the option weather permitting. Dining room food and service was excellent. Lido was OK but service needs some help. In-room dining service was good. Technology is lacking. The ship internet service can only be used to see some menus & agendas. One cannot order excursions or shop. You have to wait in line at front desk or travel consultant area when they are opened. Onboard internet service is $55/hour. I did not receive my onboard credit and am still trying to get it resolved. We heard mixed reviews on entertainment. Most people loved the comedian. Ports visited were great. Quaint towns with lots of shops. Never realized Alaska ports were into the jewelry businesses. Heavily emphasized on the ship too.

Cabin Review

Large Ocean-View Stateroom
Cabin D 3342
Cramped but comfortable and accommodated our luggage. Needs some updating. Bathroom tile had some mold stains. We had a difficult time getting the hot water adjusted but they fixed it immediately. TV is so small and old you have to site close to see and hear it well. No room to really eat in the room; tiny table. It was fine for our 6 days on the ship & it forced us to wander around.
