The trip was great, the service was excellent. There were a few items that were brought to my eye. Tables in the on deck aft quarter, always felt sticky to my touch. Crumbs and dried up Ketchup was noted on more than one occasion. (always aft quarter) floors were swept but could have used a bit more attention. Yes this is an older ship, and one can find fault with many little things that were noted, but understandably, accepted and overlooked. We ate in the Supper Club 3x. the salads very good, Lobster Bisque, excellent, Dessert beautiful presentation and delicious. Two of 3 steak Filet Mignon pieces were not excellent quality. Tough and stringy would be my description. the 1/2 lobster that came along with the Filet Mignon choice was OK. I expected more. The Lamb was Excellent ! I would go back again to the Supper Club but not for their, Fillet Mignon. (medium rare) The dining room was very good. Service and food. Had the Prime rib the 2x it was offered. The BBQ restaurant was very good, and so with the Wok, made to order, (lines are long) As for our trip, weather great, stops were what we had hoped for, We had been to Nassau twice before and decided to stay on board. It was great , had the whole ship to ourselves. It seemed to me that the cabin stewards now have many more units to clean. ( a reduction in staff, cost cutting measure?) I could not complain but the Mrs. said they could do a better job and be quicker. Maybe it is because of the possible reduction in staff. With all my food complaining I did put on a few extra Lbs. not too happy about that , my fault though.. The two gala shows were very entertaining. I did find that the bar prices were too high. $7.95 to 8.95, per fancy cocktail drink plus an additional 18% surcharge, you do the math. Cruise lines most likely pay no liquor or beer taxes to either local state or federal government as all products leave the country.. FYI...there is No tax on, the cost of liquor to the cruise company, exported goods. There purchase price from the supplier is at a Very low cost to them as the buy 1000's of bottles from the distillers yearly. I would think they pay a lot less than you pay at your local retail outlet. Have a nice cruise all and research your choices and habits .. Hopefully you have SUPERB weather as we had.

Surprised
