Celebrity Infinity Cruise Review by HP45
Most of critique is placed under cabin. We liked some features of this ship, but in general did not like it and will not return. The least of it was the heavily accented personnel with limited English who manned the telephones in CUSTOMER SERVICE!! The sea days were good but we have grown to expect more than one lecturer and some stimulating topics. We greatly enjoyed learning about emeralds from Cristian . The Cruise Director with his heavy accent and too-fast speaking should not be in that position. Conversely, Gina is a real gem and does her job with perfection. The shows were not to our taste, but we assume their clientele appreciate them. We missed the string quartet we have encountered on other ships. The ship is obviously understaffed and a cheapskate. On every other ship we have had bottled water delivered daily at no charge - here it costs as does everything else including ice cream cones
HP45’s Full Rating Summary
This cabin is large to accommodate a wheelchair. The shower is walk-in which we like. The balcony is equally generous. The bathroom door would not close far enough to latch and water in sink was always hot, never could get cold. Towels were frequently changed but never more than two. Sometimes toiletries were not replenished, The dining in specialty restaurants is a great rip off, we had a so-called aged steak that was almost impossible to cut or chew in Tuscana. The dining room food is ordinary, good but sometimes low quality ingredients. However their breakfasts at the buffet are outstanding with the best variety of foods we have ever had. Room service breakfasts offer very limited choices.
