Voyager of the Seas Cruise Review by best day ever
- Sail Date: January 2017
- Destination: South Pacific
Our cabin was right in the front of the ship and had a great 2m window that gave a view right over the bow . We had two days of 10mt waves , so that came in handy . We ate most meals in the Safire dining room and had a table for two next to the window that was great . Romeo and Fay looked after us both with professional courtesy and also friendliness .
The entertainment was ok if that was your thing , but the cruise director had the loudest voice ever and we turned her off when ever we had the chance .
Royal have this policy of charging everything in US Dollars which makes it expensive . A Bourbon and coke cost $8 Plus an 18% gratuity plus the exchange rate so work on $10 per drink , that can get expensive , so consider a beverage package depending on the length of the cruise .
The guys in the bars are great , especially Dave , Martin and Gil in the Schooner bar, great service and friendly conservation .
All in all , I think I will go back to princess for the reasons outlined , but if you are under 50 , you will probably enjoy it .
