Celebrity Infinity Cruise Review by hiperry
- Sail Date: January 2017
- Destination: South America
- Cabin Type: Sky Suite 1
The only negative regarding the cruise itself was the boarding process. Actually, there was no process--only disorganized chaos! Worse than encountered on previous cruises including our Celebrit cruises.
Our cabin was spacious and both John, the butler, & the bus boy were at our beck and call.
We thought the nightly shows were as good as any we've seen. Our ritual immediately became early show followed by dinner at Luminae.
With regard to the Celebrity shore excursions we took, I thought they were only fair. There were too many people in the groups, the guides for the three we took had relatively heavy accents that were difficult to understand for Americans, and were somewhat overpriced. We fared better by arranging our own tours--smaller groups, easier to understand guides, and lesser costs--significantly in 2 of the three excursions I arranged--one of which was through the same local provider.
