Pros: Embarkation the best, lunch then cabin was ready. Disembark a little chaotic as we left at 9. Advice leave earlier to avoid lines. Excellent ports of call. Did all our own research on ports and tours and was not disappointed in our choices. Harvest Caye is beautiful, clean and New and a great chill day. Be aware as you are not told this Even if you have drinks package and this place is owned by Norwegian you pay for your own drinks and food at Harvest Cays. Bit cheeky although reseaonbly priced. Our aft cabin had a great sized bathroom best we've had with exception of Regent Seven Seas. Proper sliding doors and separate toilet. Closet was also great and roomy and in a better place than normal not by bed. Balcony nice size. Le Bistro excellent twice . Teppanyaki is fun if you have good chef which we did, food good. All bar staff were effient and friendly and so were 95% of staff. Love the freestyle dining. Cons: With exception of Legends show and the two violinists Mirage duo the entertainment was very poor. Elvis looked nothing or sounded like him btw, but the show was still entertaining and energetic. The comedian was terrible Bud Anderson and we had to endure him twice Oh sorry I happened to enjoy The Jersey Boys show but I heard his second show he did was terrible I think that was different songs. They said he was off key a lot. Acoustics in showroom not the best in his defense. The hypnotist wasn't the best and actually put us all to sleep best was she repeated the same show a couple of nights later in a different venue supposedly adult version but still poor. The piano singer was awful and the band In the evening in Spinaker was terrible also. I had much better entertainment on the 3 day Norwegian Sky and food for that matter. For what this trip cost they should have had better entertainment. Food...just ok in MDR, did not do buffet. Indigo one good night one not. Summer Palace same thing. Breakfast we found better and quicker in O'Sheians Irish bar. Best food and service by far was in Le Bistro. Cagneys the Porterhouse steak was full of fat, filet mignon good. Asian Restaurant always busy and ok food but no "wow". Best bar area. Magnums Champagne and Martini bar great bar tenders only issue is large TV in middle showing sport so sometimes no seats when game on. Heard they are moving this TV to closer to whisky bar in dry dock. Makes perfect sense if someone wants to have a peaceful cocktail listening to mellow music pre dinner and not have a bunch of cheering football fans shouting behind you. Just saying Overall this ship is more than ready to go into dry dock for an overhaul. We had a great time due to ports and staff. Made lots of friends. Any issues we had e.g. Faulty a/c very loud was taken care of immediately so no qualms there. We felt we were forced to use speciality Restaurants to get decent food however and make our own entertainment, which we did. Best game show The Quest. Just wish they wouldn't do it last night when we all have to get up early and leave ship next day. Some people don't go for that reason. My advice wait til after dry dock Pearl is a great ship to navigate around. Easy! Just hope you have a good Cruise director and entertainment and a good Exec Chef. I sincerely hope this was a one off and it's not an indication of a decline in food and entertainment coz I did book another Norwegian cruise in the future. If that is the same sadly we will be switching to another line.

Cabin Review

Aft-Facing Balcony
Cabin B1 10168
Loved this cabin. Will be awesome after dry dock. Comfy bed, larger bathroom nice shower head (adjustable) hubby liked that and larger closet. Fridge eye level not close to floor. Sufficient storage. Quiet. Nice size balcony. Great view of Panama Canal and you can stay in your pajamas to watch the locks
