Koningsdam Cruise Review by kzf3m8
- Sail Date: December 2016
- Destination: Eastern Caribbean
- Cabin Type: Standard Interior Stateroom
Our interior cabin 1131 was cozy and suited us fine for the 7 days we were aboard. Meals were a mix of main dining and Lido. Lido stations proved a bit confusing as to where the station line started - in the middle, left side, right side? It seemed to change each day. Otherwise, we made adjustments to get the most enjoyment out of our cruise.
Not everyone did though. One evening at dinner, we were seated with a couple who had nothing good to say about the ship, the staff or the entertainment. Their bathroom was too small, the TV too big, the Lido food was no good, etc. Hard to believe, but some people are never satisfied. We couldn't wait to finish our meal so we could get away from them.
Getting on and off the ship was a breeze. We did expedited disembarkation and carried our own luggage. We were off and through US Custom before 8AM.
Taxi from port to FLL was $16 for 2. We had no problem catching our 10AM flight home.

Half Moon CayNo excursion needed here! This is my favorite beach except there is not much snorkeling to be done. Enjoy the water, the BBQ and just relax. Ahhh!View All 1,180 Half Moon Cay Cruise Port Reviews

St. John Snorkel/SailOutbound was fine but there was confusion for return ferry. We had 4 different guides/drivers - outbound ferry, taxi to park, snorkel at park, same taxi back to dock, different return ferry. No one could figure out or tell us what was going on.View All 180 St. John Snorkel/Sail Reviews
Besides that, the snorkeling was poor. Very few fish, cloudy water. Trunk Bay is beautiful.
