We choose this cruise as the destinations looked perfect as a introduction to the Far East, however sadly this was not to be. We had upgraded our cabin to a mini-suite with balcony, as we were aboard for 13 nights and decided the extra room would be worthwhile. The cabin had really seen better days, scuff marks on the wallpaper, chips in the furniture and very dusty as if it had not really been cleaned properly. The bathroom had a bath and shower but a plastic curtain is really out of the 60's. The entertainment was average, the Shows were poor and the entertainment was just Ok, the only exciting night was when they did the Onboard nighttime show, however that finished at 11.30 just when it was getting going, and the last evening in the Crooners bar, we had a great night but that was due to the people and the folk singer who joined us later. There was no joy in waking up and looking where we had docked as the majority of time you were in a shipyard with stacker trucks moving about everywhere, and the prospect of the inevitable coach journey with a colour coded sticker made you feel as if you were on a school trip. On the plus side, the food was lovely and we met some wonderful people from all over the world, however what Princess failed to make guests aware of was that the 13 night cruise was actually two cruises of 10 nights and three nights. So on the 10th night back in Singapore approx 700 Australians got off ship and 1300 Asian guests with children got on. The dynamic of the ship completely changed, the dress code was relaxed in the dining rooms, no third formal night as advised and the ship became like a holiday camp. I wouldn't go out to dinner at night dressed up and be prepared to sit next to someone in sports cloths and Crocs so why should I have been put in that position on holiday. I paid for 5 star luxury and was given 3 star all inclusive. Would i go again - No, Did I get value for money - No Would I recommend Princess - No

Where was the 'WOW' ????
