i went on this cruise with my sister and nieces in november and it was a great disappointment. last year we went on the BREEZE and there is no comparison. the embarkation process was not horrible, considering we didn't have the fun pass for easy access. i had keyed in all my credit card info and whatever else they needed for speedy processing. the dream was not very well lit. the hot tubs were right on deck 5 next to the deck where folks smoked. we also felt very uncomfortable bc it was by the casino. we enjoyed the buffet on lido and the sit down brunch at the starlett restaurant. the service at the brunch was rude and rushed. the dining crew was very pleasant and friendly. we had no problem with the food only that the servants were not very pleasant at times. room service was good, they came right away. i enjoyed the night time entertainment at this ship more than on the BREEZE. i really enjoyed the singer that sang latin music. the club music was good. comedians and other entertainment was corny. the movies they had stunk. they were cartoons and maybe one or two adult movies. although it was a 50 plus age group of passengers, everyone was pleasant except the cruise ship staff. starting with the crew ship master of ceremonies. he was corny, not funny and not noticible, not sociable. his announcements on the loud speaker were not audible. the rooms were clean. cabin stewart was not very patient with us when we kept asking why don't we have robes in our room. he kept giving us an explanation we didnt understand. i didn't go on any of the excursions, but we did take a bus to the beach in jamaica. the water was fine. we didn't enjoy the constant harrassing of the vendors, starting with the bus driver. one minute the ride only cost 5 dolars which turned into 25 dolars. we were only interested in going to the beach not a tour of the island and then the beach. the other two countries grand cayman and cozumel was very nice. In conclusion, i would not go again or recommend this ship. ship is 8 years old but looks like 20 plus years. there was a lack of management onboard the ship
