Regal Princess Cruise Review by Siljac
- Sail Date: October 2015
- Destination: Canada & New England
- Cabin Type: Balcony
Another thing that surpassed our past cruises was the buffet. It is actually two buffets in one. The Horizon Court and the Horizon Bistro. There are more sweets in the desert area than anyone can eat.
As for the shows, we enjoyed a few of them but shied away from the "louder" ones because of sensitive hearing. But that's just us and not a comment on the shows.
While most of the rooms have balconies, they are quite small. However 2 people can sit comfortably on them. Getting on the ship was easy, maybe because we have done many Princess cruises. As always the disembarkation was time consuming. But since we did not have a flight, it was okay for us.
A note for anyone who may be lucky enough to have on board credits. Get a copy of your statement within a day of embarkation. You can get it from the front desk or there is an ATM type machine near the front desk. Just swipe your room card and it will print out your statement. That paper will tell you what part of your credit is refundable. I was lucky enough to get about 40% of my credit refunded. BTW, credit can be gotten if one is a U.S. veteran of the military and/or also if you have 100 shares of Carnival Corp. stock. In some cases, credit is given by the travel agency and any of that which may be left at the end is refundable.
