Although I have several complaints about my most recent cruise with Carnival, I'll try to make this brief. No turn down service on night one, windows and balcony were extremely dirty, sheets were not changed from prior guest (blood spot) and were never changed during our cruise. 1st night out our friends had a Birthday cake delivered to our cabin, it took 20 minutes to get someone to answer a phone just to request a plate cover, and over two hours for it to be delivered. 2nd night friend had Champaign and chocolate covered strawberries delivered to our cabin. Champaign was hot, not on ice, no ice bucket, nothing. The strawberries were about the size of almonds and rotten. Service in the comedy club was none existent, I had to clean used dishes from tables at the pool bar just to have a place to sit. No service there either, all drinks consumed we purchased at the bar while my wife guarded our clean table. And if this wasn't bad enough, we were awakened by a man in a blue jump suit out on our patio one morning where they took it upon themselves to wash the windows to our cabin only which I had already done myself. All with no notice, and my wife grabbing the blanks to keep the window washer from getting his eyes full. Nevertheless, he sprayed water on the windows and left leaving water spots beyond belief. Not to mention he didn't even try to clean the balcony glass that was much worse than the cabin windows. Restaurant service was just average, food quality was lacking and presentation is even worse. Staff throughout looked more like prison labor camp workers than "FUNSHIP" staff. No smiles, no engagement, no passion, no life... Truly sad as until now, I was a loyal Carnival customer, however after this past week, I'll be searching for another cruising partner. Lastly, as a seasoned cruiser, I would expect Carnival to be better than this. As a Carnival gold member, I am a little disappointed in Carnivals reward program, as I always have upgraded cabins with Balconies and Spa deck rooms when available, yet my reward program only builds based on nights cruised not dollars spent. The budget cruiser on deck 1 with an interior cabin gets the same rewards as my Spa Deck or extended Aft balcony room at a premium price.

Think twice before you Triumph.

Cabin Review

Aft-View Extended Balcony
Cabin 8N 8428
Not worth the money. Dated, poorly appointed, worn and poorly maintained. Housekeeping non-existent, and don't look into the electrical... Exposed wires in light fixture and light fixture/bulb missing.
Verandah Deck Inside Cabins, Balcony Cabins
