Celebrity Solstice Cruise Review by lovrccl
- Sail Date: September 2015
- Destination: Hawaii
- Cabin Type: Concierge Class
First the food in the dining room was not what we were use to. Many times it was cold, it was tasteless and they have made the portion sizes very small. I asked one of the chefs what was going on and all he could say was cost cutting. Trying to reduce waste.
Also the dining room was so cold by the end of the cruise I couldn't wait to go home. I was sick of freezing to death during dinner.
The Staff was amazing, very happy and always said hello. They made the cruise for us. I have not one thing bad to say about them.
The ship was clean but all common areas were freezing all the time. Again we have never been so ready to go home and be comfortable. Also we were disappointment in the shows at night. They were the worst we have seen. The dancers were great, but the others were not what we were use to.
The tours we did were amazing, can't say enough about them. Hawaii was beautiful. Our Hawaiian ambassador, June was wonderful. She held hula classes for 5 days and I never missed one. It was the highlight of my cruise.
