Our cruise in the Mediterranean was interesting, fun, and relaxing. We were impressed with the sparkling cleanliness of the ship and our cabin. The departure was handled satisfactorily even though there are apparently inevitable waits in line. (Couldn't check in be done by assigned times to limit the waits?) The meals were quite nice, lots of healthy options. The staff was always friendly and ready to help. We didn't care for the entertainment too much. The music was not to our taste, but lots of people did seem to enjoy it. Cruise music always seems to be trapped in the past. There was a nice jazz combo that played outside. An especially interesting aspect was the glass blowing studio sponsored by Corning glass. Beautiful glass objects were made in demonstration and later sold. The art auctions REALLY should go....the art is not a good buy and the promotions are not believable, in my opinion. The guest services desk staff was very friendly, but there was almost always a frustratingly long wait in line for service. The fitness center was well equipped and the classes were a real workout. Overall, we had a great time, nice port stops, and most all of the activities were well organized.

Relaxing vacation
