So you can gauge my opinion better, I have cruised on the Allure and Freedom as well as on Disney Fantasy prior to trying the Voyager class. Adventure is a very good experience, with Freedom and Allure being Excellent and Almost excellent respectively. The Adventure is older and smaller, but it is without question still a beautiful and large ship. I was not disappointed with the decor and artwork. Only minor carpet wear was noted. The ship was clean. Staff was exceptionally friendly and ready to provide service each day. Actually the staff attitude and service was probably the best of the three RCI cruises I have tried and all were wonderful. The only area lacking in adequate service was the photo counter which was woefully understaffed and unable to finish the photo CD's for about half the ship. And that is the only negative i have to report. Dining: main dining room service and food was good to very good. I am in the minority but I think RCI main dining food is better than Disney. Breakfasts in the MDR and Giovanni's (we had suite privileges) were particularly good. Windjammer had the usual casual fast food but also had some steak and rib and seafood here and there. It is not excellent but certainly good for quick casual food. Pool deck was good size for the number of people and the big screen was certainly popular. The soft serve ice cream is actually not available 10 am to 6 as advertised and is more like noon to 6 but certainly was a great treat to grab throughout sea days. I would not hesitate to book again to see the remainder of the southern Caribbean ports that I have yet to see. I would be hesitant to book if there were more than 2 sea days as there are a limited number of activities compared to the larger ships and my husband starts getting restless. My tween kids had an awesome time and LOVED the boat. Freedom is their favorite of the three, however. Shows were: acapella group (excellent), RCI singers/dancers (good) ice show (very good) Concierge service was very good. Stateroom attendant was excellent and had a wonderfully sweet personality to boot.

Exceeded Expectations

Cabin Review

Royal Suite - 1 Bedroom
Cabin RS 1620
Starting to show wear on carpet and drapes but still an excellent choice, very roomy and beautiful lighting and decor. Lots of storage for clothes. Huge beautiful bathroom. Awesome large balcony, tons of windows and jacuzzi was used every evening. Worth every penny spent.

  • Catamaran Tour
ENTIRELY too crowded. Will not book a cruise line catamaran again. However, the snorkelling and views were great. Once we got out of the dock area and could use the front deck area, all was forgiven for packing us on the boat. But still 79 people is too many!!

  • Beach
Wonderful wonderful tour. Just the right amount of sightseeing and island history. Gorgeous little beach (Blue Bay Beach) with the most unexpected EXCELLENT snorkeling right from the beach. The tour operators were "Atlantis" and they were EXCEPTIONAL.

we took a cab to the castles/forts and toured them. The free trolley in Old San Juan was very nice little sightseeing trip.

  • Snorkeling
catamaran sail and snorkel. would have preferred a slightly smaller group but still room for all, stable big boat, and good snorkelling. Excellent snacks and drinks, introduced to St Kitts beverage "Ting" which was a hit.
