Amadeus Symphony Cruise Review by canacruise
- Sail Date: April 2015
- Destination: Europe River
Check-in with Symphony was efficient and organized. While unpacking in Symphony, the cruise staff told us that they found our IPAD and had made arrangement sending to Lyon. This demonstrates their top-notch customer services. All in all we had a wonderful time throughout, the foods and services are second to none.
Lyon old town is very beautiful - 2000-year-old city, designated as a UNESCO Heritage Site.
Beanune and Burguny wine regions were the highlight of this trip. Avignon in Provence, is a historic Old Town. We strolled through the historic center and Palais des Papes.
We also joined the excursion to Pont du Gard - very impressive architectural structure built sometime in the 1st century by Romans.

P.S. Our cabin is in mid ship closed by the office, very convenience and quite.
Port & Shore Excursion Reviews
Vieux Lyon (Old Lyon)The ship docked at the Saone and Rhone rivers. We began with the guided walking tour along the cobbled streets in the old town. the city is very beautiful with magnificent views. Basilica of Notre Dame is very impressive. We had free time to do local crafts shopping. Need more time to appreciate Lyon.View All 26 Vieux Lyon (Old Lyon) Reviews
