The three dinning rooms on board DaVinci, Michelangelo, and Botticelli all offer a excellent variety of food I did not think the food was the greatest of the ships I've been on which are The Disney Wonder, Mariner Of The Seas, Jewel Of The Seas, and Explorer Of The Seas. Though the service in The Botticelli dinning room was wonderful. Every night my Shirley Temple would be waiting for me at my table, and the food would come quickly after I ordered. The food was not the best but the service was wonderful.
The entertainment on the ship was very good. Before my dinner I would go see a show such as comedy, magic, juggling, and more in the Explorer's Lounge. The Explorers Lounge is a Egyptian themed small and comfortable show lounge. The entertainment in the Explorer's Lounge was very good. Regular show times would be 7pm, 8:30pm, and 10:30pm, as dinner times are 6:15pm and 8:15pm. The Princess Theater is a 2 floor show lounge that features comedy, magic, and the production shows. The production shows are Broadway and Vegas style singing and dancing shows. The production shows on board are Motor City, a tribute to Motown; What A Swell Party, a tribute to the Cole Porter era; and Destination any where uses singing and dancing from all over the world. The pool deck and pool on board were very good. On the back of the ship there was the Terrace Pool. The Terrace pool was very tranquil, quiet and in the sun. It is also a short distance from the buffet where you could get a snack in the middle of the day. There is also The Neptune's Reef pool on deck 15 center. The Neptune's Reef and pool is the main pool on board the ship. Poolside is the pizza cafe and ice cream bar. The pizza on board was the best I have ever had in my life. The other pool was Calypso's Reef and Pool. This pool features Princess's Movies Under The Stars. This is a 300 square foot movie screen where they play movies, sports events, and video game tournaments. It was very nice to watch a movie there because they gave you popcorn, blankets, and candy. The pools on board were all freshwater unlike on Royal Caribbean. The pools on board were very good. On deck 19 was the sports deck. It has basketball, mini golf and cyber golf. The mini golf course was good but challenging. On the rocky and windy days we had it was very hard to play. The basketball court was not as big as Royal Caribbean's and Disney's and the balls were very damaged.
On a scale of 1-10 I gave the Crown Princess a 7.

St. John (U.S.V.I.)St.John was the most beautiful I have ever seen. The water was turquoise blue and the mountains were lush green. Cruz Bay, the capital, was a nice beach town with a view of the water. We took a open air taxi through the island. That, I think was the best thing to do. We saw trunk bay, Caneel Bay, cinnamon Bay, Annaberg sugar farm ruins, and more. St.John was my favorite port I've been to through out my 5 cruise.View All 141 St. John (U.S.V.I.) Cruise Port Reviews
