Food: Chef George and Cook Clay were outstanding. Meals and snacks were always prepared with fresh ingredients and artfully presented.
This cruise is great for relaxing. There are no planned activities on board but plenty of island stops for good snorkeling, some diving and beach swimming. Some island stops provide shopping, restaurant/bar. Some have hiking but do not attempt without proper shoes, alot of water, long sleeve shirt and hat. Terrain is usually steep, rocky, very dry and HOT. Spanish Town, on Virgin Gorda, had a grocery store which had a nice selection of food and provisions.
Pack light, remember your 70+ sunscreen, floppy sun hat and sturdy hiking type footwear!
This ship has steep inside staircases, exterior stairs to get from ship to dingy. You'll use the dingy to get from the ship to all islands. Some islands have docks some are "wet" landings which means you disembark on the beach in shallow water.
We enjoyed out Island Windjammer cruise and the crew and passengers!
Give it a try if you are physically active and enjoy the water and a lot of sun!
