The ship was great except for the more than normal movement due to the stabilizers not functioning properly. Luckily nobody in our party is subject to sea sickness so other than feeling like we were still on the ship 2 days after the cruise, it was not too bad. Great Balcony view...Cabin was quite large with ample room and a comfortable bed. We stayed next door to the couple we were traveling with so we had them open the divider between the two balconies and the adjoining room door which made it very handy to go from one cabin to the other and gave us one large balcony space to share. The only noise issue we had was other guests letting their balcony and cabin doors slam shut without holding them to close more quietly.  The food on the ship was very good with several restaurants to eat at for lunch so the lines were not very long at all. The supper dining experience was excellent..very good appetizers, main courses and desserts & our waiter and bus boy were outstanding. The shows and entertainment on the ship were great and we were never without something to do. The ports of call were also good....all in all it was a very enjoyable cruise.

Great Vacation!!

At this stop we did a tour with Royston Island Tours. This trip was excellent! Royston met us when we got off the ship where we headed for his van and started the tour through the town and then out on the country side around the island. We stopped at a Batik shop to see a demonstration and then went to Fort Brimstone. After we drove to where Royston kept his 4X4 Jeep which he took up a mountain path where we got a great view of the island and the rain forest. We then got back in the van and toured the rest of the spots on the island and had lunch at one of the beaches. After lunch we went snorkeling for a while and then headed back to the ship. The tour covered pretty much the entire island..it is pretty much a custom tour with Royston taking you wherever you want to go so it is a great way to see the island at your own pace. I highly recommend the Royston tour for this stop.

At this port we went on a Serenity snorkeling trip. We were greeted by some Serenity people once we got off the boat and then we were taken by boat to a cove where their dive shop was located. The trip included lunch at the restaurant and then snorkeling from the beach. The original tour information we got stated that we would be picked up after lunch to snorkel at a different location before returning to the ship, but this never happened and we were only able to stay at the one spot. The snorkeling was quite good from the beach with several fish and coral along the shore line to see. The lunch was also very good. The original tour description also said that there would be "Serenity Rum Punch" included, but we we did not get any rum punch either. So, although we had a good trip, it was somewhat disappointing we did not get to do what the original excursion description was.

It was kind of windy when we arrived so our snorkeling trip on the French side of the island was canceled. Luckily we were able to get on a Snuba excursion on the Dutch side which ended up being a lot of fun. If you have never scuba dived before, this is a great introduction to see if you would like to eventually become certified for scuba. Snuba requires no certification or training other than what you get on the boat and there were 2 professional divers with us at all times to make sure everything went OK. While there was not a whole bunch of stuff to see where we went, being able to dive down approximately 20 feet and see the sea floor and a ship wreck up close was a great experience.
