  3. Azamara Quest
Upon boarding the Quest for our first Azamara cruise we met so many people who were on their 4th,5th or 6th (and in some cases more) cruise which is always a good sign. We had a mini suite on the 8th deck (8053) and everything was very good. The staff were excellent, the senior staff including the Captain were personable, friendly, helpful and communicative (quite the opposite to the cruise we took immediately prior to this on Silver Wind - for all we saw the senior crew on that ship it might just have well been on 'automatic pilot'') the food was superb and the staff most attentive at all times. It would help if there was more than one choice of red and white wines at dinner. We will travel with Azamara again and have no hesitation in recommending this ship on the basis of this most enjoyable experience. The entertainment was very good orchestrated by the personable Cruise Director who also did a 'one man' show which was excellent - the activities including the Bridge lessons were just what was wanted. The purpose of the cruise was to relax after 16 months in the Middle east - this was easily achieved. The Azamazing experience was exactly that - the staff are to be commended in organising a most enjoyable evening in the grounds of the Cochin Meridien hotel for 500 passengers - the dancing and the food were excellent. We had been to most ports of call before and arranged our own trips locally. Some public areas were a little too cold but that is exteremely subjective!
