Our experience with the embarkation process seems to be better than some of the other reviews I read online however we did arrive early to the port. We took only about 30 minutes from start to boarding. Cabin was acceptable and our cabin steward was the only shining star for the cruise. Dining in the main dining rooms was horrible. Took forever for your food to come and when it did arrive is was just luke warm. One night I ordered steak and sauteed mushrooms and the mushrooms had obviously been sauteed in a pan that had just cooked fish as that was the flavor of the mushrooms. I DO NOT LIKE FISH OR SEAFOOD. Ruined the entire meal for me. If you opt for the 'freestyle' dining and pay extra for the meal you then get a good dinner. NCL seems to be after the extra dollars and trying to discourage customers from the main dining room. Would do better to charge more for the cruises and then be able to serve better meals. Entertainment.....let me just say the cruise director was the magician....and after attending the caroling fiasco I opted to skip the magic show. Even in the entertainment area greed seems to prevail on NCL. They offer two game show options. First is Deal or No Deal at @ $20 a pop. Out of a full room one man won $200. No other winners. I never went back. Bingo I did not participate in but I was told the minimum price was $40. Seemed a bit high for bingo. Our biggest complaint about the ship was in the Medical Staff or lack of.....my husband who already had a cast on his left hand fell in Cabo and had a significant cut on his leg along with banging his cast quiet hard on cement. When we returned to the ship we immediately went to medical. The nurse (I use the term loosely) reminded me of a gum smacking teeny bopper when asked if we could have his wound looked at..without even a blink or a glance at his leg her reply was that's alot of paperwork and will cost alot of money. GOOD GRIEF!! We didn't care about the cost but I surely wouldn't want to inconvenience her with a mountain of paperwork. Needless to say I will never go NCL again. Back to Carnival and Princess for us.

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Balcony
Cabin MX 11106
Our cabin was good and our cabin steward was one of the best I have ever seen on any cruiseline. Plenty of storage. Was glad I had packed an extention cord to have multiple plugs as there was only one in the room and one in bathroom however the one in the bathroom was loose and nothing would stay plugged in.
